You are sadly mistaken. 90 percent of the time, us high level Guardians arent there for drops... we are completing some stupid bounty, or grinding marks so we can buy real equipment from our vendors. Drops are 1 in a million. My 120 marks are a gaurenteed legendary.

Hell I'm the guy that gets the "standing tall" bounty and you can find me in the front lines surviving from start to finish (not every time but that's not the point). I get what your saying: you want to get your gear preped and collected, me two. But I take my time and got my stuff and more with marks and loot drops. I want to enjoy the game even if I already played it tons of times, and same goes for my high lvl friends. So don't say or imply that we all do it, because that's simply not true. Yup. I want to level up my exotics, so I need to finish bounties. So if you can't keep up that is fine. You will get there eventually

Do you have the shards and energies for them? Otherwise your wasting your time going that fast.

Don't need shard and energy for the first 3/4 of the perk leveling.

In addition, weapon and armor lvling goes faster the more you use it (weapon) and get damaged (armour). So you are passing over a small aid in item lvling... but again, unless you have the requiered materials for the final upgrades, you hit a wall in no time.

Or leveling up vanguard, since now they give you shards and energy. Or doing your dailies for them. Or doing public events. Point is if you need shards, killing everything in a strike for that occassional legendary isn't all that efficent.

Yes, indeed I do. But that is irrelevant since it is insanely rare to get Ascendent mats from a blue drop.

And it's now impossible with blue since those were upgraded to legendary seeing as people (apparently) didn't knew what to do with them... so this matter of legendaries and materials kind ticks me the wrong way. Also the first one was ment for you. The forums simply double posted and removed the one I didn't edit... -.- fixed now though...
