It's called speed running for a reason. It saves you much more time than "a few ticks" (what ever arbitrary number that is), and since they updated tiger play list rushing for end strike rewards is much more productive than grinding all the mobs in a zone. How ever to each their own, play the way you want, and use the forums to find like minded guardians to play with you.

It saves barely any time at all at least in groups I have been with. Not sure what level you are but at L29 there isn't any group in any tiger strike that 3 x L28/29's can't kill almost as quickly as run through. That's the point. Just because someone calls it speed running doesn't make it true.

29 sunsinger and 26 havoc titan. Sparrowing past non essential mobs, quickly eliminating locked door mobs, and downing boss is substantially faster than killing everything. By the way i only strike with my clan mates and we're all similarly leveled. But again i don't mean to dissuade you from playing the way you enjoy nor say it's the wrong way to play. Merely shedding light on why players rush. Cheers

Ok I get that. As I said, I never found it much quicker at all. Usually if I dont leave, I catch up to runners almost as fast soloing them. But as you say play how you enjoy. Especially if it's with clan mates. I run with friends and with pugs. Experiences do vary.

I'd also like to add the your experience is also very likely true since not every one knows what mobs have to be killed. But strike experience differences aside, thanks for being able to hold a civil conversations.
