1: Random Mode.
Yup, I said it... Random. I cant tell you how many times I have played the same missions over and over again with the same amount of enemies always spawning from the same exact location.
Its crazy, walking into a room and throwing a nade into a dark spawn zone knowing that they will be there.
But what if they weren't? What if they all spawned in a different cave making me: 1, waste my grenade. and 2 completely confused as to why im still getting shot at.
Random. Random amounts of enemies in random spawns, say i threw the same grenade but, this time instead of the 3 thrall it spawned 4 acolytes and a knight... CRAP! Not only am I screwed now because my grenade didn't kill everything, but now im also screwed because more enemies also spawned behind me in a different spot that they never spawn in! NOOOO!!!
I think this dificulty should be added for the players like myself who enjoy playing story missions on the hardest difficulty but, its still not hard enough to appease our lust for a challenge.
2: Costom.
I think that we should be able to chose our own heroic modifiers to create our own challenge and maybe also get a really hard mission going with added loot at the end as a reward. It would need ballancing so that we can't get legendary loot out of a level 2 nightfall say, the array station... Instead we will get common items which we would deserve from doing that, and we could get say exotic engrams from doing "The Black Garden" lvl 28 with Nightfall, Juggler, Epic, Angry, but NO Burn effects to amplify our damage... HARD!!! These could be "custom games" were there are no public areas either, so the whole world is your own dificulty, but you get to change it if youre not up for the challenge.
3: The Traveler.
A matchmade game with 6 guardians doing a 10 wave Ghost Defending Horde Mode with rediculously challenging waves... like 20 hallowed knights with 10 of them being melee and 10 being Hive Boomer guys... on wave 1! A gametype that will challenge all members and take forever to complete just one but, the ghost locations spawn in various spots throughout the map making it vitrually improbable to camp in an invincibility glitch unless one is found for all 10... which is highly unlikely.
4: Crucible.
New Crucible Gametypes
Warsat: Defend your warsats from the enemy team hacking into it. (could be similar to demolition in Call of Duty)
King Of The Hill: Played with the vex plates in Rumble gametype. self-explanitory for what it is though.
Classic: Weapons spawn on the map instead of you using your own. (similar to halo) **could also be called scavenge**
Extraction: Control the extraction crew to gain points. (aka Headquarters)
Darkness: When killed the darkness consumes you until the last guardian is standing. (Search and Destroy without bombs)
These are all just Gametype ideas though i have many more about general things that will be in a later topic posted.

How about a rambo match equivalent. 1st blood gives you the rambo buff and an infinite ammo heavy and the ability to earn pointa from your kills but you have a permanent marker on you. The other players try to kill the "rambo" in order to take his buff for themselves and start earning points. Killing other players while not rambo gives no points but may stop someone else from killing him before you
