Oddly, I got it from Xur as an exotic engram. I was just trying to up my crpytarch level, and usually by the time Xur rolls around, I have the mats needed for one or two. Meh. What's strange is that I got this helmet week before last, and then when he rolled around again and I did it again, I got the *same* helmet, and even though my previous helmet was almost completely upgraded, this one had a better intellect score at its base, so I scrapped my old one and started upgrading this one.
