If there are, good luck being able to reliably verify them. They aren't exactly open about their practices.
I don't think you can be certain the chicks are killed painlessly just, as you said, you can't be certain for a cow. But that is a decision you'll need to be honest with yourself about.

Not the canned stuff or you'll be drinking pure fat. It should be in the long life milk section of the store. Okay, my itch is scratched.
