It doesn't have to be free DLC. Some of us gave Bungie a lot of goodwill, and bought the Limited Edition. So have already paid for it. But the game does need new and genuinely meaty content, and quickly.
But I've resigned myself to the DLC being yet more of the same, all be it through additional areas within existing maps :(
I just hope the reef is opened up and is found to be a fully formed territory in-which we can explore. The one reef cutscene looked promising. At least that will be new for us, and if we're really lucky, one or two additional moons too.

We don't want the expansions for free, we want more CORE content that we deserve because the story line (and content overall) is lacking. The story is pathetic. There is no emotion or emotional investment or connection to characters.

Like I keep saying I'm not asking for the DLC that are due out to be free. I'm asking for a DLC or patch the fixes the story so it makes the game as a story driven co op shooter worth while, like it was meant to be as says so on the back of the case.
