I typically finish a lvl 24 strike in about 13 minutes, yes I run through it as fast as possible. I almost always get two blue engrams each time at the end. So let's just say I get about 6 blues every 30 mins and the occasional purple. To have someone fight all the mobs (even just the high-lvl ones) is dumb. And besides most strikes have an area where you have to stay and fight anyway so there's that if you're not down to run through with me. All in all, I see it more effective to run through the strikes when trying to gain anything other than exp.

  • Agreed. However, I tend to get about half rare items/ half blue engrams. I only wish they were all blue engrams (and the occasional Leg). But the rare items just become Hydronic Essence immediately. Still, fully agreed on rushing through the strikes, although I usually kill most if not all of the level appropriate enemies, which are usually within the spawn restricted zones anyways. Slowpokes can farm their greens, doesn't phase me. Usually at least the other guy is racing through with me and we are a murderous, efficient duo.

^AMEN! I get all my legs from the mass of blue engrams received from all the strike completions. There is no way in hell that killing every mob can compete with flooding the Cryptarch with blues. Plus the odd chance you get a leg from Cryptarch packages after leveling up from all the blues.
