The chances of those enemies dropping a legendary are low and I dont think I've ever seen it happen. I race ahead to get it done as quick as possible to get the marks which could buy me the legendaries that haven't dropped yet.

I've gotten one legendary drop from a normal enemy and it turned out to be 2 ascendant energy. Very pleased.

I'm not saying it's impossible but the chances of it happening on a regular basis is very slim.

Oh, absolutely. I to am for a good speed run on a strike. And killing a hundred plus enemies in search on an engram is a waste. Speed run for the rep and marks is the way to go.
