If your intentions are on beating the Strikes as fast as possible for a Bounty you're just spending an extra hour or two doing the Lvl 24 Strikes over the faster low level ones for a CHANCE at an end game roll being any more than a few blue Engrams. I've also gotten blue and legendary drops from Mobs in even the Lvl 8 Devil's Lair.
