Legendary engrams don't drop like they used to let alone give you gear you will actually use like when the game first launched. Even though the game isn't nearly as bad with engrams as it was a couple weeks ago, it still doesn't matter. People run strikes to complete them, not farm them. Don't even say that strikes have higher drop rates for weapons. They don't. All enemies have the same drop tables. Speaking my opinion based on data gathered personally and from many others, these things fall into your lap. You will not get a legendary engram because you want one. You will get a legendary engram because the game will give you one. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Random_number_generation If you want to farm strikes, do it with friends. If you have problems playing with randoms then don't do the playlist. If you are going to do the playlist, don't try force your values on others, because everyone has an agenda, not just you. Either complete the mission or drop out. If you can't keep up, that's your fault. If they die because they were stupid enough to rush ahead despite not being able to get by, then it's their's. One last thing. Go complain to Bungie about the lack of ingame voice chat. Seriously, this is a coop/competitive multiplayer game and they opted to leave it out because of their "vision" for Destiny. Set them straight.

 • It's attitudes like this that make Bungie leave out voice chat on matchmaking strike missions. It makes sense to kill all of 24 mobs cause They are the ones that have an rng chance at giving you a drop. I've received more purple drops since they've fixed loot and I've been doing lv 24 and up missions and strikes. I've done quite a bit of patrolling for bounties and don't see many blue/purple drops there. It's anecdotal on both sides so let's agree to disagree. I continue to clear and will catch up to the dude going Han Solo up ahead cause he won't get very far on his own. I can usually cler up pretty fast and catch up no problem
Don't even say that strikes have higher drop rates for weapons. They don't. All enemies have the same drop tables.
Clearly you didn't read this through. Agreeing to disagree would be fair if this whole circumstance wasn't subjective but it is, unless in fact I was speaking from experience and experience alone. But I wasn't. And not it's not because of "attitudes" but rather because of Bungie's "vision" for the game like I mentioned before. They just didn't feel like putting it in. They are busy, they have to make 4 Destiny games by 2020 with 2 DLCs minimum per game per the Bungie/Activision contract or they will lose money and development assets. They don't have time for in-game voice let alone private lobbies. This is a coop game. Anyone who has played coop and actually uses their brain and not delude themselves with biased points of view will tell you that in a coop game, you need to communicate and why many people are ostracized for not having a mic or being a mute. This is why raid matchmaking isn't a thing. The VoG isn't that difficult. I run it with randoms and given that everyone is properly geared, you can easily get it in a few tries per encounter if not your first. It's because they can't implement voice chat why we don't have raid MM. They are just now putting in MM voice chat and are discussing raid MM. Your comment makes you and Bungie appear to be very inept and incoherent. You have been informed. Welcome to the gaming industry where art is gutted in favor or science and economics.

 • I disagree, my Legendary drops have decreased dramatically since the patch, and I play two characters, all bounties, strikes, and patrol. I can count on one hand how many Legendary drops I have had since the patch, not including the three I got from Tiger Strikes.

 • Since the patch I have yet to see one legendary engram before the patch I would see 10-15 a day
