Solo'd the Weekly heroic strike last night. Satisfying achievement lol.
died to the tank boss a couple of times until I perfected this awesome strategy of taking one of the interceptor tanks, and strafing around him. How many of you guys knew that he had a charge move and machine gun turrets that leave him wide open and do considerably less damage than the rockets. lol. He still shoots rockets tho.
The biggest challenge though was finding an easy strafing path. So you don't get caught on debris. I recommend having one guy tank in a tank to distract him while 2 others take out his "wheels" from a distance. For extreme easy mode :D

Another cheesy spot to fight the tank (which I use) is with an interceptor before you drop down to the valley that the tank is in. Just behind the platform that you kill the lieutenants in, you can either go left or right to drop down to the tank field. On the left, you can stay up top and strafe left behind the dead tree, and right behind the rock formation, rinse & repeat. The tank will sit nearby, but if you completely get behind the tree and rock formation with each strafe, he doesn't even fire a shot. Although you'll get an occassional primary cannon fire if you get stuck on a rock and can't get behind cover quick enough.

Now to try soloing a nightfall strike lol

Very satisfying! ! Soloed the same strike a couple days ago. I just kept my distance with the inercepter fighting the tank. The end guy was more of a challenge. He hits hard and his adds are just annoying. Also the juggler thing they add really sucks when all you have is one heavy round left and you have to melee the adds in hopes of an ammo pick up.
