Anyone be willing to explain how the blue, purple and orange damage types work?
I have looked around the internet trying to find something related to this and i have found a few youtube videos but they don't really explain it very well, As far as i know they are only found on Special and heavy weapons and they only do extra damage to some enemies, but that's about all i could figure out. So if anyone is willing to explain it as best they know i would appreciate it. Sorry if this is a noob question, i kind of jumped on the destiny bandwagon a little late.

1 Replyone of the huge things you need to focus on is just finding a PRIMARY legendary/exotic weapon that does a different type of damage than "kinetic" or normal damage. there are many ways to do this, however I got my Void AR in the Vault of Glass. im not sure if the iron banner will be selling any like this. at the same time you also need to be trying to get legendary/exotic special and heavy weapons for all 3 damage types.
