Anyone be willing to explain how the blue, purple and orange damage types work?
I have looked around the internet trying to find something related to this and i have found a few youtube videos but they don't really explain it very well, As far as i know they are only found on Special and heavy weapons and they only do extra damage to some enemies, but that's about all i could figure out. So if anyone is willing to explain it as best they know i would appreciate it. Sorry if this is a noob question, i kind of jumped on the destiny bandwagon a little late.

1 ReplyUntil you start getting into the later levels it's not that important. But once you're doing the level 28 missions those shields will "resist" all damage except for the intended element. On lower levels you can take down any shield with any damage type, but using the right damage type is faster.
