I actually like using it for my Gunslinger, it adds quite a bit of time to the trip mines. I basically just have to wait 3-5 seconds before I can throw another one if the previous explodes due to time. Not to mention the helmet I use with my Gunslinger also has the grenade kills = more super energy perk. A good trip mine does quite a bit of good, for me at least.
