(Edited) Absolute proof Iron Banner is complete bullsh*t!
I was making a new warlock and got through the 4th mission or so. I was level 4 with my friends who are all high level like my main. I decided to test Iron Banner because last night I really didn't see much of a difference playing with my lvl 30, it felt like regular crucible. So I joined up with my friends to play some Iron Banner. I was expecting to walk in and get one shotted with an ankle shot, instead I was baffled at what happened. Thank you for the video, the damage numbers were very illuminating because of the level gap. Do note that there was a damage difference. A Grim Citizen or Galahad-E with the same Impact will do 24/32 at the damage cap in Iron Banner (same as normal Crucible). You were doing 19/28. ...not that it matters. Seriously? That's it? A Level 4 takes maybe ONE more bullet to kill a Level 30 than said Level 30 takes to kill a Level 4? ONE. And that's with an Auto Rifle. Most semi automatic weapons kill the exact same number of shots, probably. Do Level 30s have more health than Level 4s or something? Any advantage other than that? If not... complete fail on Bungie's part. Not that I care. Every lobby I'm in is full Level 26-30 with maybe one Level 20. Even with advantages actually making a difference I'd only have a slight advantage.
