You're camping. They're trying to play the circle cap game and you're standing off to the side killing them. You also have support from friends who are drawing their attention. And you're using cover.
Beside's its been tested. The only difference exotic and legendary gear makes are the perks associated with them and being able to hit the top tier dps. Which surprisingly isn't that far off the floor.

Just because you aim doesn't mean you will hit. For -blam!-s sake the warlock he killed in the first 30seconds missed him with a melee! He was with friends against a group of random people. who do you think will win? His friends were also shooting the same person so he got lucky with getting the last shot
