Yup I saw no difference in the iron banner, im a level 27 warlock and I have killed plenty of people with my shingen e when they had the suros regime, but it all matters on how you play and if you get the drop on them, because iv also been owned by the exotic guns as well, but this iron banner where ur armor and guns matter, this guy should have been shooting airsoft bb's at them and should have been getting killed by stray bullets from all the upper levels, but I guess bungie will keep feeding us lies till the end, just like they did with this recent patch that was suppose to fix the KTO issues with the servers, but I guess that was a lie as well, instead they gave more people KTO issues when they did not have those issues to begin with.

There should be some calculation that determine whether the weapon will deal full damage(impact)against the player armor defense. We don't know what those calculations are. A high level player using a weapon with a high attack should deal full damage to a lower level(level 4)player since that player should not have yet unlock high defense armor. However, full damage could be at the highest 24% damage which I've seen for most auto rifles...in other words damage dealt to the lower level player would be the same as the regular crucible. Now,the lower level player might be dealing a reduction in damage based on the attack stat of his weapon and the defense stat of the player he's shooting but like I said before we don't know the calculations...it could be 5,10%. A 10% reduction from 24 would be about 21,which would still be a lot of damage against a high level player. That being said the high level player would only have a slight advantage over the low level player in terms of weapon damage output...now this is where skill come into play.

  • A level 1 weapon should have zero effect on a level 20+ character.

There should be some calculation ie attack vs defense. The level of the player does not matter. "Take your best gear to the iron banner"
