There is a known issue that causes bosses to do more damage and take less damage from more guardians.
It's a known issue..... That they haven't bothered to patch yet since they announced it 2-3 weeks ago.

Ok good to know. Tried again last night and we wiped about 15 times before we finally killed him. I was getting one shotted by the boss constantly.

Also if you're even one level below the strike level you might as well be wearing paper for armor and throwing rocks for weapons.

Good to know, cuz I was getting pretty angry last night when my unfriendly giant with 5 direct hits did no noticeable damage. So now, I wait. I'm coming for you Arkon
