(Edited) Absolute proof Iron Banner is complete bullsh*t!

I was making a new warlock and got through the 4th mission or so. I was level 4 with my friends who are all high level like my main. I decided to test Iron Banner because last night I really didn't see much of a difference playing with my lvl 30, it felt like regular crucible. So I joined up with my friends to play some Iron Banner. I was expecting to walk in and get one shotted with an ankle shot, instead I was baffled at what happened. Watch the video, and let me know what you think. Edit- Here is my second video as well, this was my third game and did even better than my first. http://youtu.be/h2rUdKnB_4M Check it out and let me know what you think! Also thanks Deej for replying at least, I was not expecting that. Although you did leave us with your usual vague wait till the update answer. Please don't just address it, please actually fix it! A big shout out to my fireteam, thanks for helping me make this video ClearVue, AssasiNinja187x, ojndeath1, DukeNukem786, and xxKunntryxx

  • I'm going to agree with everything the OP said. I was actually going to make a post of my own but I saw yours when I first clicked on "Forums". I've been damage testing the BS that is called "Iron Banner" or should I say "Iron Crucible" since there really is NO difference. I've been rocking the Legendary Shadow Price for a long time now and once I started Iron Banner, I was curious as to what my damage output would be. So I began keeping track. When I first started my Shadow Price was upgraded until the last 3 Attack Upgrades (274 I believe) and I do 32 damage on a crit at level 28 against 28-30 and even those who were lower. So I decided to finally upgrade some damage and make myself a level 29 by putting on an Exotic Headpiece. So one after one upgrade followed by another to reach Attack 300, my Shadow Price STILL does 32 damage to the head on ANY CLASS, and ANY level. So what is all this hype over Iron Banner and level advantages? Nothing...just a fancy name with more pointless gear that can't even get you to Light 30. I decided to do another test, since while playing I ended up dropping a Rare Painted Suros with the buff that allows me to do more damage while aiming down sights. (Same buff as the current second most OP gun in the game. Suros Regime) I used one bounty on it to unlock my buff and back into the crucible, sorry, Iron Banner and low and behold, I now do 39 damage to the head while aiming down sights! But wait a minute...This gun only has 224 attack. Its so much lower than a fully upgraded Exotic or Legendary such as my Shadow Price...why is this number so high? I decided to upgrade it a little bit more...sure enough, still doing the SAME EXACT DAMAGE. So Bungie, please as the OP says in his video. What on earth are you thinking? Who is in charge of the math and damage algorithms used in multiplayer? This game just continues to be broken on so many levels. And we haven't even began talking about the Vex Mythocast.
