What i have read indicates that players get a max of 180 health in normal crucible and there is no way to affect that in normal or otherwise. The attack and defense scores buff damage out and debuff damage taken, not alter the amount of health you have. Yes in normal crucible the attack and defense scores mean bubkis, however they are supposed to contribute in iron banner. That was the difference, thats why they say your gear actually contributes to how well you do.
