That's do to a damage in buff and a damage out nerf for going against lower lv adds that bungie put in the game off the bat.
The problem is should not apply in IB since it is supposed to be all about your lv and stats.

I agree I don't like it either but it does make running with my lower lv buddies a little more entertaining. That's also do to I have never been one to enjoy a stomp I like a good decently earned event.

yeah entertaining when my lvl 9 friend lives longer than me and im 29 lol and laughs cause i got killed by a lvl 8 baddie they might as well had no lvl system in the game in the first place
