(Edited) Absolute proof Iron Banner is complete bullsh*t!
I was making a new warlock and got through the 4th mission or so. I was level 4 with my friends who are all high level like my main. I decided to test Iron Banner because last night I really didn't see much of a difference playing with my lvl 30, it felt like regular crucible. So I joined up with my friends to play some Iron Banner. I was expecting to walk in and get one shotted with an ankle shot, instead I was baffled at what happened. Just created a new Warlock and played Iron Banner as a level 4 using the base auto rifle (20 damage). I played around five matches, but only two complete. I do not play PVP at all. I was surprised that I won about 30-40% of one on one gunfights with level 27-30 players. As long as I aimed for the head and moved side to side, I stood a fair chance to win. This is comical. I was laughing when I would put down a level 29 or 30 in a fair gunfight. That should not happen. Granted, I died a lot...but it was pretty fun! Actually won two games and my last one I came in mid pack. I think I might play a little more for kicks. No armor, no abilities, and the lowest level auto rifle in the game...still had fun. :)
