Has anyone else had this drop, and have horrible stability? to the point to where you HAVE to shoot it like a pulse rifle, which in turn kills your damage? i have got it to where i can gently aim down and left to keep it on a head but jeeezzz. so annoying to play this long, and still only have one legendary weapon that BLOWS.
P.S. that picture is of my actual rifle, no stability upgrade available
-
I use it everywhere I go as it is my favorite and first legendary. Im able to easily get headshots from afar without a stability upgrade. Especially at the dreadnought taking down cabal from spawn point. Guess i'm just (bad kids joke in 3...2...1...) MLG. What am I doing with my life xD
-
mine has high stability roll and can also change its arcetype so yeah
-
Don't worry sir from 2k14 it's way better nowadays, it completely melts enemies in both pvp and pve. It's the bullet hose of my dreams and of my enemies nightmares.

Edited by EPGuy80: 11/27/2014 4:52:33 AMNot at all. I got one as my first legendary engram from the Gyptarch about a month ago and it's my go to weapon for Iron Banner. It has the Glass Half Full, Perfect Balance, and Reactive Reload perks. As far as I can tell, they stack if done before you get popped. I hadn't been using it because I've been working on other legendaries and exotics, but it's an absolute beast in PvP. I can take down two, sometimes three players with one mag. High reload speed, auto rifle reload gauntlets, and extra auto rifle ammo leg armor make me a damage dealing bullet sprinkler. I can also trace jumping players and headshot them with it, so it isn't that inaccurate. The range is short-mid, but that's why I have Patience and Time as my special.

I used this until I got my atheon epilogue, but once I got atheon and the stability upgrade, it'd be impossible for me to go back haha.
-
I use this in PvE only and it's a beast. 2nd tier of weapon upgrades has a stability increase.
-
Just wanna say I was 18-0 in a free for all and got killed by one.. Finished 23-1 lol. So upset.
-
I have it on my HUNTER (placeholder while switching gear between characters)... it's junk. :(
-
when i first got it, it was ok. i got use to the recoil pattern and did fine with it. however, once i got Atheon's Epilogue from the Vault of Glass, i have never touched my Hex Caster since then. i still have it in my bank; not sure why i haven't disassembled it.

Edited by robofighter4: 10/9/2014 8:24:20 PMI used to use it in crucible, and in higher level strikes/VoG... I didn't think it was that bad, even without any stability upgrades. I prefer it over the Shadow Price (shockingly) and I only sidelined it because I prefer the mid to long range of SR's to mid to close range of AR's
-
it's an auto rifle so don't expect much mine is slightly upgraded and I like it A LOT more then Doctor Nope
-
Yup. Not good enough for pvp. Still using my hushwind till I get the Vanquisher.
-
Not at all I have no problem with its recoil just get upgrade and squat when you shoot.
-
I have one as well. It shreds at close range. The stability buff mine has kicks in the longer I fire the weapon. Still bucks like a bull though. 66 rounds is what makes it good fit PVE. PvP I don't bother using it anymore.
-
Ya trying to get the stability add so it will be of use.
-
It along with Dr. Nope can be very hard to use if you get one without a stability upgrade, I personally got one without it and immediately dismantled it because I knew it would be very hard to use and I had just gotten a Suros anyways.
-
I was using it in pve for a long time , it's pretty good once you get used to how it kicks , the large magazine is great fun , makes you feel like Rambo , spray and pray ftw.Hated it for pvp because for some reason real people won't stand still.
-
Yeah the stabilities pretty bad, I don't have the upgrade/perk for it, so I'm gonna dismantle mine for shards.
-
I have it and enjoy it I've gotten the hang of it on pvp
-
I like to use it with my titan because I have the exotic chest that grants 2 grenades and my first rune with this weapon is kills give back grenade energy
