Leaving it up to a forum post to form a fireteam of possibly very unreliable people who more than likely wouldn't even show up in the time given, and on top of that idk how they play so they could suck for all I know and we keep losing. Yeah that sounds like a great idea

Voice chat in Iron Banner is a HUGE advantage. You can call out strategies to team mates. You can warn them not to run into a room that has an enemy using their super. You can use flanking strategies. In the forums you can look at their Crucible stats and see if they are any good. It would be making some effort instead of just hoping RNG is in your favor for matchmaking.
