Wow. The premise that people now feel empowered to sue publishers/game devs after they voluntarily purchased a product is completely and utterly absurd. What's wrong with you people? Bungie's still working their asses off to give us the game we want and all you guys can do is complain. I don't about you guys, but I grew up playing games for fun. I promise it's possible. You made the call to buy Destiny. You gave someone your hard-earned money in exchange for a product. If you bought it based on previews and videos and didn't take part in the FREE alpha or beta before making your decision, you are the only one at fault. You know what marketing firms do? They try to sell things to you before you've done research. If you're an uneducated consumer you don't deserve the $60 you spent on a game you don't love. Don't try to place the blame on people doing their jobs. It's your money, your call. The best part of all the complaints is that they're being put on a forum dedicated to the game you can't stop playing. And if you have stopped playing, why are you here? To bring those of us who actually enjoy the game down? To verbally abuse people who made some of the best console shooters to date? Seriously, help me out here, because I don't get it. Entitlement has reached an all-time high. I've really enjoyed my time in the Banner thus far. And you know why? Because just like everything else in this game, it gently (or maybe not so gently) encourages you to mix up your play style. Up until now, I'd roll into crucible with one or two buddies, but now I'm looking for a solid all-clan fireteam before I drop in. I'm not even traditionally a online PvP gamer, but after attempting and completing a handful of easy crucible bounties (complete 5 ____ matches, etc.) I found a flow that made getting into PvP much easier and now I'm Iron Banner rank 2 after a day running with my buddies. There are a lot (is there a Destiny medal for biggest understatement?) of issues with the game, but it's mechanically tight and is fun even when doing the same crap over and over thanks to those mechanics. Bungie made something special here, even if it needs a while in the oven yet. They certainly don't deserve to be sued for trying their damnedest to give us something new (yes, I know that most/all of its parts have occurred elsewhere, but rarely at the same time and never to this level of visual and mechanical polish). Get off your high internet horses (I imagine you're riding good ol' Dial Up) and provide some constructive criticism instead of railing against a game developer because you didn't have to foresight to research the game before buying or the patience to decide on the purchase after reading critical reactions. At the end of the day, the only person who screwed you is you. Thanks for playing.

 • Honestly destiny makes me upset yet I love it so much. Something about it just screams potential even though it dropped the ball big time. I'd like to have them make it what I wish it would become rather than get my $60 back that I couldn't do much with anyways. I'll consider it a small investment in a potentially bright future for this game.

 • Exactly. And if you have friends to play with/party chat while you patrol, run vanguard strikes, crucible, etc, it's pretty fun in the meantime. There's a lot more to Destiny, clearly, but I'm very happy with what I have now and look forward to refinements over time. And they're already happening. And with almost 185 in-game hours so far, I've already gotten my money's worth. Granted, my preferences lie a bit outside those of the average western gamer, but that just speaks to the strengths of something like Destiny. The gameplay and the interactions/experiences with your friends are the meat. If you came for a solo story-based shooter with easily mastered PvP, you done -BLAM!-ed up.
