List your top 10 games of all time. Is Destiny on it?
Explain why or why not Destiny is or isn't on your top 10.
[b]Update:[/b] and just as i suspected. the destiny fanboys top 10 are all full of FPS and just plain bad and corny games. some people really surprised me by not having many shooters at all in their lists but still having destiny
You guys should really either expand your gaming selections, or play SOMETHING other than a shooter...
I think you'd find there are MUCH better games out there as long as you're willing to go outside your comfort zone.

Earthbound Final Fantasy II (in Japan aka IV) SC I (including BW) SC II (including HotS) Tales of Phantasia Final Fantasy V Fallout I or Tribes I Total Annihilation Xenoblade (easily 250 hours of game play) Tales of Symphonia Destiny would maybe make it in my top 25. The game feels like a virtual Skinner box, rewarding you with just enough novelty and illusion of progress to keep players coming back. I have wasted, a frankly sad, amount of time playing the game. Don't get me wrong, the game does somethings right, though I don't know if they outweigh the number of faults. Either way, almost all of my top 10 involve a strong narrative driven game. I relished the time I played everyone of them, taking my time to play through them. Each session left me satisfied, content to walk away from the game and ponder upon the implications of new information in relation to my interpretation of the narrative. Destiny leaves me feeling empty after each accomplishment, so I find myself spending far more time playing it. In much the same way that many people attempt to fill themselves with junk food, eating more and more but never truly becoming satiated. I guess what I am saying is Destiny is the Potatoe chips of the video games.

Skyrim MW2 Black Ops SWTOR KOTOR 2 LOTRO Battlefront 2 Warhawk/Starhawk (they need to release these on ps4) Guild Wars (1 and 2) No Destiny cause I have not seen what it can fully offer yet.

Borderlands/Borderlands 2 (first co-op experience and a blast) Mass Effect series Destiny Far Cry 2 (even with the aggravating malaria, I still enjoyed it a lot) Civilization series Might and Magic series Dragon Age:Origins Crysis (liked all 3, but loved the first 3/4 of Crysis)

Its not on it. Its a fun game, but its not one of my 10 greatest I have ever played. But I am more of an RPG fan. I mean this game has some RPGish elements, but there is not a lot to the skill tree for customization unfortunately.

Not in any order: Gears of War series Halo series Mass Effect series Resident Evil 4 Borderlands series Dead Space series Phantasy Star Universe Metal Gear Solid series Dragon Age: Origins Fire Emblem: Awakening (Always subject to change) Don't get me wrong, Destiny is fun and it held my attention for 2 weeks straight but the content is far too lacking. The story, if existent, was awful. I also strongly dislike the PvP and loot system. Destiny probably barely makes my top 100. This is also all my opinion, I will respect all others.

Good god no. Destiny has not earned its place in or near my top 10. Only when a game can deliver the full package and be consistent with sequels would I even consider it. There are so many other masterfully made games out there, problem is most are a bit dated. Doesn't mean I don't like to go back and play them for nostalgia's sake, but currently Destiny is nothing more than the flavor of the month for me. When the DLC is released, it better blow me away unlike the initial release. In my book, if you want to come out with a new game you need to come out guns a blazing and get people hooked. I've dumped plenty of time into the game, mainly crucible, but I wouldn't hesitate to abandon it for something else.

I'd pay pretty much whatever they wanted me to for this game. The top game ever made in my opinion for a number of reasons. Final Fantasy VIII Mass Effect series (probably my 2nd favorites after FF7) Halo CE Halo 3 Dragon Age: Origins KOTOR Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and Skyrim. I thought Oblivion had a better campaign but the system in Skyrim was superior. If the graphics had been equal, Cyrodil (or whatever the oblivion area was called) would've been cooler than Skyrim environment-wise Metal Gear Solid Fallout 3/New Vegas Honorable Mentions Twisted Metal. Splitscreen as a kid in this game was awesome! That's all I can think of for the moment. Might update later. Destiny, while fun, is no where near cracking into this list.

Except reach, ruined the cannon) -C&C Tib sun -Pokemon sapphire -dark souls -stonehearth -starbound -the last of us -mass effect series -civilisation beyond earth (not out yet but it's gonna be awesome) -fallout 3! Destiny isn't on it but it's still an amazing game just could have been better so that's why. Also the list is always changing and will likely change again when I get shadow of mordor, the division, and others.
