Destiny would maybe make it in my top 25. The game feels like a virtual Skinner box, rewarding you with just enough novelty and illusion of progress to keep players coming back. I have wasted, a frankly sad, amount of time playing the game. Don't get me wrong, the game does somethings right, though I don't know if they outweigh the number of faults. Either way, almost all of my top 10 involve a strong narrative driven game. I relished the time I played everyone of them, taking my time to play through them. Each session left me satisfied, content to walk away from the game and ponder upon the implications of new information in relation to my interpretation of the narrative. Destiny leaves me feeling empty after each accomplishment, so I find myself spending far more time playing it. In much the same way that many people attempt to fill themselves with junk food, eating more and more but never truly becoming satiated. I guess what I am saying is Destiny is the Potatoe chips of the video games.
