I do more damage because P&T can shoot 6, reload, shoot 6, reload etc. Icebreaker shoots 6, then you wait 5 seconds per bullet or 30 seconds for a full mag. P&T: 1 Second Reload Icebreaker: 30 Second Reload P&T has MUCH higher DPS. Enjoy killing bosses significantly slower. [spoiler]Haha Math.[/spoiler]

"Haha math" is right. 5 minute cooldown on synthesis. Try the math again and see what the DPS comes out to.

If I use a Synthesis I can shoot 48 shots, which is about 24 more shots than I use on any boss before it dies. I never use Special Synthesis. If it takes more than 5 minutes to kill a boss for you, Ive got some bad news. [spoiler]Your fireteam sucks.[/spoiler] P.S. Special ammo drops [i]everywhere[/i] in VoG.

P.S. its RNG, and have fun trying to run around when you have a specific role in a boss fight.

Pick up ammo when confluxes despawn, pick up ammo when you kill the wave of enemies during oracles. Pick up ammo from waves during Relic Portals, Pick up ammo after killing Supplicants, pick up ammo from enemies killed inside the portal. Ammo everywhere, I cant even remember the last time I had to use a special Synthesis.

It must be a real shame when you run out of ammo.

I dont know what thats like! We kill Atheon before I have to Synthesis. Plus theres Special ammo literally everywhere in the raid. I wouldnt trade very slowly regenerating ammo for significantly less DPS.

I can solo Atheon without firing a bullet. Your speed at which you can kill him with a gun is insignificant to me.

And the 5 minute cool down? I will have fired 70 shots in that time.
