Ragnorok and the Norse mythology are very prevalent in the lore. Want to see something cool do a google search on WEB OF WYRD images and tell me if it looks familiar to something you see every time you boot the game up. Then start digging into what the Web of WYRD is. trees of life and wells of Destiny.

It's the tapestry of fate drawn and woven by the sisters of Urd who sit at the roots of the tree of life. But what's crazy is that the tree of life is actually cosmic in this mythology and represents worlds in the cosmos inhabited by races that will meet for a final war in Ragnorok.
