Fishing for hours on end just to catch lobsters was the shit. I'd sit there and watch the same animations over and over for fishing, then woodcutting and then cooking to finally be able to sell that.

Then there goes the struggle on getting into world 1 or 2. Then they update to a Grand Exchange da faq. Made life easier.

I remember, before the days of the Grand Exchange, I would refresh the server pages for a while to see if 1 or 2 was free before resigning to my fate and joining some other server.

I signed in to Runescapethe other day. Dude, my 75m meant nothing to those kids. Even on f2p, 75m is nothing now. I'm basically middle class on that game. Santa Hats jumped from like 20m to 200m. >.<
