On the live action gameplay trailer that bungee released, you get a short clip of what looks to be like the moon, with a dragon-like figure "flying" before it.
Is this the "IT"? This could be the FACE of the darkness.
I am excited to see how bungie will develop this into something... Magical.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that the text "... As the black flames burnt the blossoms" made me think of that dragon seen on the moon.

I've seen the same image. People have been theorizing that Crota (from the moon) is actually a dragon, specifically the one seen in the trailer, and that he's chained down under the moon. But a weird thing happened last night: while I was walking around Venus, I randomly looked up and saw the exact same silhouette, except now it wasn't black it was more of a reddish color. I really hope they're dragons, but maybe they're just Alien bird-type creatures.

I too saw it once on venus... but it hasn't shown up again since...

Exactly. After I briefly saw it, I kept looking up in hopes of seeing it again (or another one) but no luck. Ill just have to keep trying.
