Trading
Does anyone want a trading ability added to destiny? for when you got something not suitable but is suitable for your friend when he has something suitable for you but not for him and other reasons?

Only if you find some way to cap the system to keep it from breaking the system. Maybe have a pawn shop? Put your unwanted purple and golds in the shop for a portion of what they would sell. Have the pawn shop drop the last damage or armor slot from the item since it is "used". Purple chest in the pawn shop sells for 50 vanguard/crucible, the person who pawned it gets 35. This would keep the game honest and still give a discount for good (but not as good) gear.
