Thought I'd share this cool site I found with you guys: http://destinypublicevents.com/ It tells you when and where the public events are happening or likely to happen on all of the maps. Very useful for getting the daily gold tier reward (usally an ascendant shard or energy) without having to wander around for ages waiting for an event to happen.
