Sometimes you're just going to get killed by it. Same with all the supers. The deck is stacked against the defenders heavily when a super is involved, as it should be.

I don't have a problem losing some gunfights I have a problem losing all of them

but just because I choose a defender subclass shouldn't mean that I will ALWAYS lose a gunfight with a offensive subclass. that's not balance. I don't have a problem with blade dancer mechanic only its increased shields when I go into my radiance I can still be one shot killed with a sniper or a shotgun blade dancers take 3 or 4.

EDIT: I didn't read the whole comment, I saw defender and went off on a tangent... Meh, if you have radiance up just pepper the ground at your feet with grenades, you might die but he's standing in a pool of sadness.
