I am in the same boat. I am at my max with Normal legendary gear and exotic chest and gloves. I also have updated my raid gloves but working on my Raid chest. Still do not have raid/exotic head/boots. You will find two sides to the argument though. Those of us with a bunch of different weapon choices and trying to raise our Raid gear and Exotic gear and those that do not have a lot of weapon drops or their armor is already maxed out.

What I need is basic materials and xp for my items neither of which I really have time to grind for. Obviously that xp will eventually work itself out, but this game really needs a market so I can trade glimmer or legendary mats for basic materials. Hell even give the enemies a small chance to drop mats and I'll be happy. Come on bungie pull your finger out.

The fastest way to get shards is to do public events or buy legendary armour from the vanguard or crucible and dismantle them

I got 30 Ascendant shards last tuesday. That's all I got from the raid and Nightfall, kinda sucked. So now I have 58 Ascendant shards, and 34 Ascendant Energy

When you get the armor and weapons, you won't have any issues.

lol bitch moar. i have 129 energy and 5 shards. at least when you have the gear (like me), you won't have to get shards.

Daily heroic. Difficulty: Hard, lvl 28. Guaranteed two ascendant drops every day.

daily heroic + daily public event, guaranteed 3 with the chance for 5 daily. chance for more if you do more then 1 public event.

We all just recently hit lvl 28, so we haven't tackled the dailies above 26. But lately, they've been getting easier, so we must be ready.

The Daily Heroic can be solod at lvl 27 on hard.

Need more ascendants too. Can get the materials easily, but got like 5 defense upgrades all sitting on the shards
