The Star Wars wall of text fails to explain that not everyone has hours on hours to enjoy this game. You're whole statement is one sided. There is such a thing known as casual gamers that make up a large part of the community who doesn't have hours to grind senselessly at recycled strikes or patrol mobs but wants to enjoy crucible (which is kinda forced but that's another argument for another day) and is being slain by this beast of a gun. Therefore he is not happy with this game.
You are unhappy BC your hardcore play isn't rewarding enough in PvP. You want to hear the screams of the guardians your slaying with your cheap non skilled kills you receive with the mythoclast. You feel as though you've been cheated and in my nonprofessional opinion rightfully so but that still doesn't make it right.
My end all conclusion is that this game is broken. Not the story, cryptarch or any of that hooblah that keeps filling up the feedback forums but rather the separation from PvP skilled kills and PvP earned kills(earned by hours of grinding). I feel maybe this is where the Iron Banner could have stepped in to separate the two but instead it is the same.
this was not meant to butthurt anyone, only to show more than one side and also to reveal the REAL problem with PvP
Who cares if there players that cant contribute hours and hours to a game? I'm getting really tired of this "let's cater to the casual crowd" mentality that console games have now. Give my back Gears of War 2, where the casuals got -blam!-ing thrashed and the devs didn't give a damn.

If this game is anything like an MMO, and you don't have hours to grind on it.. then you shouldn't have anything good. Hours and hours of playing should equal as good reward. I just hit over 200 hours played on my main that's a PvP 30 and not to mention my titan is PvP 25 with 5 hours played yet a hunter is 37 hours that just hit PvP 25. Can't grind the game? Don't complain you don't get good stuff.

I appreciate your feedback but I must disagree. Also when trying to aproach this from a fair and balanced perspective you also made the major flaw of assuming my motivations, for example I do not play PvP, not because I do not enjoy PvP games but more because I do and do not enjoy this one. I am strictly a PvE player on Destiny ever since the Beta. I agree the game is broken but you and I disagree as to why the game is broken and I feel strongly that this patch only makes the problems worse and does nothing to enrich the quality of the game and instead takes away the very reason to play any MMO or RPG game. Thank you for your input and I also agree that I need to re-format this in a more eye friendly manner. I will do so at my earliest convienence but am currently helping some friends level. Thanks for the feedback.

Tell me about your PvE experience since the patch (non-sarcastic). I could see where it would hurt the damage models of that gun in PvE but again my nonprofessional opinion says that this game was not solely meant to be played hardcore style. What I mean is that you pretty much beat the game so why would you want to redo old strikes or even the raid. Its a shame really.

This game was always intended for the more hardcore gamers. That's why they have crappy item drops and endless hours to level up. That's why they have the raid. Bungie's mistake came when more casual gamers came along and wanted another call of duty where rank doesn't matter. They suddenly changed the direction of the game to "balance" it out. If you want a casual game just understand that is not what destiny was intended for. But bravo for everyone that pressured bungie in the wrong direction and ruined the game.
