So you think the "best weapon in the game" for pvp should come from a pve raid???
You think a weapon that clearly dominated pvp should come from (mostly through a glitch) someone beating the AI???

The best pvp weapons should come through some incredibly difficult pvp task and the best pve weapons should come though some incredibly difficult pve task. They should NEVER commingle.
The crucible sucked for anyone that didn't have one of the overpowered weapons there wasn't even a point in playing. I know numerous gamers with years of fps experience that simply quit playing destiny due to the pvp imbalance (they didn't want to pve).
I understand that some people want the god mode gun in pvp that makes them the best. I think that's pathetic and clearly shows their character, or lack there of.
I want my skill to dictate my kill to death ratio, not the gun I got from beating some pve raid lol

Just for the record thebus88420 I didn't say I thought any of those things and while I respect that you have an opinion on how things should be changed you did not actually reply to my original post. Although all the people who focus on the mythoclast when making their argument in this forum clearly did not read the entire thing (not that I blame you it was very long). So, as we all know if you don't read the source material then commenting and blurting random thoughts may not be the best idea. But again I said nothing like what you quoted me as saying. Thanks you for your thoughts though, I found them interesting even if I don't agree.

I was asking you a question, is that what you think? Answer it please. Should weapons that dominate pvp be gotten in pve and vice versa? Your whole rant was clearly about the mytho, which you get beating AI, ARTIFICIAL intelligence, not actual people. Why in the world should that give you a very clear advantage in pvp? Further, why in the world would you want to start off with weapons that give you a distinct advantage playing against other people? I want things to be as even as possible!

Why don't you try to beat the raid without any exploits on hard mode? Maybe then you will have an appreciation of why the mythoclast was supposed to be powerful.

I don't disagree that it's supposed to be powerful but please explain why a weapon won in the pve environment should give you a distinct advantage in pvp??? If it were the most powerful weapon in pve I'd completely agree. If it were gotten by something extremely difficult in pvp I'd completely agree. But It's Not

34% is a lot to take off a gun you just spent a whole week on a raid getting. Have you spent hours on the level 30 raid figuring out strategies in order to survive to the next check point and then finally beating that impossible Aethon boss just to get a green rated Vex Mythoclast? I personally could have lived with 20% damage decrease because it is OP on PvP but 1 idiot at Bungie decided to make it worthless. Level 30 RAID=CRAP!!!!!!!

TheBus.... I totally agree. This is not only a mmo-ish kind of rpg it's a shooter. The PvP has been unbalanced due to auto rifles and other crap that they actually cared to fix. I am VERY happy they patched this issue. Anyone who thinks otherwise seems to want to dominate without skill. Lame

Or perhaps they care nothing for the PvP game modes that mimic CoD..... Poorly. I know its a strange idea but not everyone is motivated by what you and maybe they even enjoy playing a different game type than you.

What does that have to do with what I said?! I'm fine with different game modes to get good gear, or even that peeps may not enjoy these PvP modes. Things were a bit unbalanced and now they're a bit better (apparently not to you though). If you want your gun unaffected in pve I understand, but they fixed an issue that was clearly unbalanced on the PvP side. Tis all

It takes skill to get the Vex gun and if you ever had it you would change your tune. Only those who have not braved the level 30 raid and beaten it and got the Vex gun could say such a comment.

I agree, anyone who got the mythoclast or even got to the boss on 30 has skills, but skills are not the questions here and in fact I have found that most people who say that no one has skills who uses a mythoclast probably dies to it because they do not have the skill needed to go get their own. But see, that type of thinking is the same gross oversimplification and stereotyping that I try to avoid, so I am not saying that I am just pointing out that the argument can be used both ways. Also if it is used it contributes nothing to the conversation and is basically resorting to name calling after losing an argument. Love your post

If you were speaking to me I don't play crucible and I think there is only one match on my record that my son played, but again useless name calling shows us nothing of your intellect, I assume you have an actual point to make but then again you may be a child.
