I've thought up a pretty good solution, hear me out. I know my idea probably won't make it all the way I think it is the only way to satisfy both hardcore and casual gamers. The idea is simple. Split the crucible and vanguard. For instance, you plug the game in and instead of 3 characters, there's 3 characters for vanguard and 3 for crucible. In order to play crucible you have to play as a crucible player and use only weapons earned in crucible and bought at the tower. This would mean people who liked crucible and want changes could have changes that don't effect the vanguard. This would also mean all characters are now vanguard and you'd have to start a new one for crucible only. Along with this though, iron banner would remain only for vanguard. This being because people who want to show off their weapons such as the Vex Mythoclast can still do so, and people who don't want to start over but don't really care about the weapon differences can continue to play on iron banner. I know there are a lot of flaws to the idea but I do t see any other solution that would satisfy both groups.
