The reward system needs to take performance into account. This applies to both PvP and PvE.
There is nothing more frustrating than when you score 5000+ in crucible and your team ends up losing. Then just to add salt into the wound you get either nothing or a pointless rare item as a reward while the player on your team with a 0.2 k/d is rewarded with a legendary engram for being responsible for your team losing. Once you hit above a certain amount of points you need have a better chance of getting a better reward. k/d should also be taken into account, people with a positive k/d should have a higher chance of receiving a legendary or exotic item. Until a change is made in the reward system I have given up playing crucible.
Now for PvE I have done the Raid 3 times now and still only have one piece of Raid Armour and no weapons to show for it. My friend did the Raid for the first the first time and got a Raid chest piece and Praedyths Revenge, how is this fair? There needs to be some sort of guarantee of getting Raid armour each run through because I am losing all will to play the Raid any more.
Also in strikes like in PvP you should be rewarded by performance, once again when the player in your strike that somehow only manages 20 kills or isn't playing gets a legendary reward it is extremely frustrating as they haven't really done anything to earn it.
I'm getting to a point with this game where I lack any incentive to play it now.
Also on a side note there needs to be some new strikes or at least an option to play them on 26/28 normally, 24 is way too easy now.
