So often, I'll kill someone in PvP, and they will die. 3 seconds later after they have the time to seriously wound and/or kill me. You should note that I do not lag in the games. There's nobody jumping around, no random walking into walls etc. Just kills a lot of the time.
Here are 2 examples where after I killed them, they had time to injure/wound me before they died, therefore I died too instead of doing what I was gonna.:

This is a huge problem. And it seems like it got even worse recently *sigh*

There's no doubt whatsoever that Bungie is fully aware of the issue. It's nearly impossible to say what the cause is when we're not there with the data. Bungie is full of long time FPS players, they would fix it if it was easy or even difficult to fix. I feel the pain myself on a somewhat regular basis, but really, they know about it and will do what they can. The waiting game is no fun, I know, but it's all we can do.

been happening a lot lately and it's getting annoying

ikr some how your the first ive seen bring this up but this is major issue

They won't fix it or even acknowledge it happens. Today I unload a full heavy machine gun clip into a guy who ran at me. He bumped into me as I then decided to stab him, stabbed him again as he pushed past me. He turned at the far wall to face me and I stabbed him 4 more times. Now this is one of the rare times that when this happened the other player didn't damage me before they finally dropped but still ludicrous.

Agreed. Would be nice but they're too busy nerfing stuff to fix it atm.
