I kinda sorta disagree in a way... I just think that you shouldn't have to wait a week to play the raid again for loot. I beat the raid about 6 times using two separate characters and only got one raid gear from it. I overcome a pretty difficult challenge just to be in the mercy of RNG. Then if i don't get anything good i have to wait another week. Reaching lvl 30 should just be based on challenge and not based on time. I don't believe you should be able to buy lvl 30 gear cause even if you suck you can still rank up your crucible.

Oh no, level should most definitely be based on experience, however experience is often parallel with time played. While im more ok with the challenge being the way to level, im not ok with the gear. I simply didnt say anything about the light system because its easier to tweak light levels than to change the whole system

You kinda miss the point. I do agree experience take time and that should be part of hitting 30. i didn't mean that by doing the raid you should automatically hit 30. Its just the fact you need raid gear to progress but you can only do the raid once a week. So i can play the game once a week just for the raid or i could play 100 hours in one week and i would be in the same situation with zero progression. so the whole experience aspect is taken away.

Oh, yea the time locked content is just bungie stalling because everyone knows the game is barren. If the stuff wasnt time locked, everyone would be done. Im not saying that's a good design decision, im just less concerned with it
