This was just telling everyone we can only play how they want us to play which I don't agree with at all
English
-
No, they were telling people that this is how the game was MEANT to be played. There is a difference between them patching out an exploit and patching out a mechanic.
-
Pretty sure they said that it was an open world and we could play however we wanted pushing a boss off the map is an exploit standing in front of a cave is not Standing behind a rock also isn't especially if that rock is in the arena and you don't need to glitch to get there patching it is telling me I can only play how bungie Invisioned I would play which is bull crapola if I wanted a straight linar game where there's only one way to do everything no variations or creative ideas thats what I would have gotten
-
Sorry but proposing anarchy just because they say "open world" is illogical. Every world has its rules. Dont like them? Cant make sense of them? (Hurrrrr) Door is waiting
-
Again I'm entitled to my opinion and if everyone just starts heading for the door when they patch things and make the game less fun they game will be empty in months so you really shouldn't push that kind of logic
-
Id rather have a less populated game with logical players than players that exploit and call it creative strategy.
-
You'll end up with a dead game no players and soon after no game at all standing behind a rock inside an arena is far from an exploit
-
Edited by Nourface: 10/15/2014 7:50:31 PMSo you are saying the majority of gamers are illogical. Well thats good to know. Ignoring mechanics is and exploit ya twit. When a rock allows that then its an exploit/oversight. It needs to be adjusted. How naive were you to think that it was intended while doing it?
-
OK troll boy back to your bridge
-
Typical response. Apparently, you have no rebuttal. Thanks for admitting you are wrong.
-
That was an admission of nothing you are clearly more interested in arguing all my points with nonsense than trying to discuss them and possible come to a mutual agreement so rather than continue on pointlessly I'm ending the conversation since your only goal is to argue with me my opinion will not change and I'm entitled to it you are entitled to yours as well but I have no further need to explain my opinion to you
-
Im sorry, I wont agree with someone who feels like exploits should be viable ways of playing a game.
-
Again hiding behind a rock isn't an exploit pushing the bosses off now that's an exploit and a patch to that will be welcomed by me this however just tells me I can only play how bungie wants that's like handing a kid a ball and saying no you can only play catch with your right hand because that's how I thought you'd play with it
-
Not even close. You are playing a soccer game and picking up the ball running around like an asshole because thats how you play with your friends on the weekend. No matter how many times the ref blows the whistle you just ignorantly complain.
-
I'd like you to read what bungie said they wanted from this game for us to explore and see how we would play their game so no it isn't a soccer game they gave us a ball and now are telling us how they wanted us to play with it is the only way
-
Yep they gave you a soccerball and said play soccer. If they wanted you to play football you would be playing football. Baseball, baseball. You cant choose to be given a football and decide to play baseball.
-
Yes you can you just aren't creative look at ac or far cry they give me a ball and tell me figure it out you can do anything you freaking want with it wanna find a way to throw a grenade and set of a chain killing everything sure go for it
-
Yes lets compare a shitty single player game to a shared world multiplayer coop game. You just compared ballet to football. Congrats.
-
That's actually a lot easier to compare than you think also they aren't shitty they are AAA titles that will probably kill this game also ac unity is open world multiplayer say what
-
That hasnt released and you have 0 bearing on how the game will evolve based on player exploits and balances. Ive played more than enough MMO and PvE/PvP games to recognize par for the course. You are in for a rude awakening.
-
We shall see
-
But bungie even said themselves they look forward to how we figure out their challenges on our own. So they took away one of the ways we discovered. I mean I personally don't care that they did. But it goes against something they said themselves but that just makes them no better then politicians. So it's just how you look at it from a moral standing.
-
Morally, do you feel its ok to circumvent boss mechanics? Do you know what an enrage timer entails in an MMO? Ill give you a subtle clue = insta-death!
-
No, I would not say instant death. I'd say it's a bit harder to kill. That's the only difference. I mean it will make things about 4 times harder in this scenario. The oracles spawn faster and he shoots faster and shield break doesn't last as long. So in turn if you are "bad" as they say then insta death is plausable. But not inevitable. You can avoid death by being smarter then the average bear.
