That's exactly what the people in MLKs time would tell him.
Most peoples interest at his time didn't match with what MLK wanted. Just because it's not popular, doesn't mean its not the right thing to do.

Again, you're not MLK, stop. And just because YOU think it's the "right" thing to do, doesn't make it so. Also, MLK had a lot of supporters who acknowledge what he's doing is "right". You on the other hand... who? what?
