The problem isn't that the fight is no longer possible (I also cleared it last night). It's that the possibilities in achieving victory are limited to a set, Bungie-approved, solution. IDK why people keep confusing these two very different points.

>_> dude, that's what video games are. They're like mazes. They can be huge like Red Dead or GTA or small like Mario, but they are all still mazes. Every raid in every game has a progression of mechanics. Having the whole party hiding in a corner that the boss can't damage you in while your mages blast him is not how it's supposed to be. That's not only unadventurous but it isn't creative at all. I am confused how people started thinking it was a legitimated strategy.

So you're saying you've never shortcut a game you've played? Because everyone that has ever played a game and is experienced has used a shortcut one way or another. If Bungie doesn't want gamers challenging or overcoming their mechanic, maybe the Vault should change location on a weekly or bi weekly basis.

Edited by Sigurd Fatima: 10/16/2014 9:02:39 PMNo, unless you count the warp pipes in Mario. The only time I'd use a cheat is either just to see what it would do, like adding sephiroth to your party or when I was already done with the game.

I had actually thought about the warp pipes when I was writing my comment lol

See but those were specifically designed by the developers to be used for the purpose they served. It's kind of different with the platforms. Otherwise there would have been a big "Stand Here" sign lol.

Ok i see where you are coming from. We basicly sat on the left side during the last phase. Didn't move unless he teloorted to the back. Easy fight non the less.
