It would be the equivalent of bungie removing the stone pillars you hide behind. Sure, its there and you and your team devised the tactic of hiding behind there because it worked. Now just imagine they made that a kill zone, then what? Bungie is basically punishing players for coming up with tactics. And you got to think about this: some cry baby complained about the sniper towers because it made it to easy. Give it some time and someone will complain about hiding behind the pillars, or hiding in the back in the caves to the point where we will all have to stand in the bit with the cleansing light.
