Communities Interest, and Bungies Dev Cycle

Note: There is not any malice or hate in my words, I actually love the idea of sitting and playing this game when i get home, this is better than folgers. I've been wondering as of late, with what some of the stuff the community has brought up (besides the nerfs, what needs/"wants" to be nerfed, minor glitches, raid exploits) what exactly the dev leads, the "peeps at the table" have said about some of the other important things out there? If they're currently looking at ways to implement these things, looking at some sort of timeline at which point they can implement them? I ask because communication is a two way street, you (DeeJ) are listening well, but I have no idea if what I'm saying (which is really nothing most of the time, this is mainly focused on the community) is actually recieved or appreciated. I don't need to look at past notes to know stuff is being brought up, but I feel we (the community) would like to know what is under development, being looked at as possibilities, and an overall scope. Examples: Grimore Cards in-game, pvp private lobbies(tossing it in there for some reason, check my resume it's horribad), in-game clan functions Maybe on the weekly updates have a dev constantly come by and share what they are currently working on (but not at that current moment, pretty sure that would piss them off). TL; DR : Question about if we can get info on some of the important topics from the community.

  • That's the problem, they really haven't said anything. There's been plenty of good ideas, repeated ad nauseam, on how to make the game better (there's a story on Kotaku compiling these ideas), only to fall upon deaf ears. However, their actions paint a different picture. Patches and hot fixes have made the game more restrictive, and as the old saying goes, "actions speak louder than words". That's why fans are so hostile, they've heard nothing from Bungie themselves and their "improvements" hinder how people play the game.
