I love how people on this board openly laugh at 9/11 jokes, Holocaust jokes, Sandy Hooks jokes, -blam!- jokes, and other jokes about tragic events, and actively tell people to lighten up about those things when they offend others, but then suddenly as soon as somebody laughs at something that offends them... Well now it's gone too far.
Seriously, if you are going to tell people to lighten up and take a joke about some tragic events, you need to lighten up and be able to joke about all tragic events, or at least understand and accept that what deeply offends you will make others laugh, just like how 9/11 makes you laugh.
Tolerance, people. Accept that all tragic events are funny to somebody out there and stop trying to tell people to lighten up/that something is offensive to you.

But those events are in hindsight, and we are able to get over those tragic events by making light out of a grim situation. This, this too current. And a lot of us never actively saw someone grieving, this however, is right in front of us.
