[/quote] cutting out acceleration to provide more boost during re acceleration. kinda like taking deep breaths. you stop regular breathing to commence deeper inhale. or when overtaking in a freeway in a manual car. you take out your foot off the accelerator, causing you to lose speed momentarily, press clutch change to lower gear then accelerate.
