Where does it say that you died during the Traveler Discovery? Sorry maybe i wasn't paying attention.
But it makes little sense actually, like, you were created in the Collapse, so you're supposed to know what was going on back then.
Then why does your character knows nothing about the Darkness? Or about what happened before?

Exactly. Your Awoken is Pre-Golden Age despite the fact Awoken didn't exist until the Collapse

Nor Exo, because they were created during the Collapse weren't they? So... the only true race are the humans!

The Exo as we know them were Golden Age. There memories were wiped, so it doesn't "break the lore" to have them know nothing.
