"The Awoken" in the dialogue is reference to the "Reef-Born". Your gaurdian is Earth born

There is no such distinction buddy. Nice try though.

There is a distinction...not said by the Ghost, but by the concepts promotion for the Awoken (specifically the Reef). Earth Born awoken come to the Reef for answers. "The Awoken" are a reference to the Awoken only location of The Reef. The only other time the term "The Awoken" would be used is about a singular Awoken, such as an Araach or Osiris.

Well the Grimoire states that there is a distinction between Earthborn and Reefborn. It may not be physical or anything but there is a sort of social difference. "It is said that the Awoken were born in the Collapse, descended from those who tried to flee its wrath. Something happened to them out on the edge of the deep black, and they were forever changed. Today many Awoken live in the distant Reef, aloof and mysterious. But others returned to Earth, where their descendants now fight for the City. Earthborn Awoken who venture out to the Reef, hoping to learn its secrets, find no special welcome from the reclusive Queen" From that it basically states the Queen doesn't care for those Awoken who are from Earth and especially don't care about them trying to learn things about/from them. Hence why you could argue that the Queen's dialogue with you is indifferent because she doesn't care or doesn't see you as an Awoken since you aren't one of her people.

Exactly, you come from an ancestry of earth born awokens.
-
What? Have you not read the Awoken card?
-
Actually yeah there is a distinction and guess what? It's right on the Awoken griomoire card.

Oopsies, I "read" it before but it was more like a skim through. My bad.
